The Celebrity Trofeo Cup 2025 took place at the PTIK Stadium, South Jakarta. The debate occurred between El Rumi (Colossus FC) and Syamsir Alam (Selebritis FC).
The commotion started from a hard tackle by Syamsir Alam on Ammar Attamimi, a teammate of El Rumi. The tackle was deemed very dangerous, leading the referee to issue a red card to Syamsir Alam.
Through his personal Instagram post, Syamsir Alam recounted the chronology of the verbal altercation with El. Syamsir admitted he was shocked when he received the red card, and he pointed towards the Colossus FC team.
Syamsir Alam mentioned that during that moment the tension was high and the weather was very hot. "El came towards me after I had slid, he yelled at me 'fool' or something like that," he said on Instagram, on Sunday (20/7).
Syamsir Alam did not accept this and reacted to El's words, which he felt were inappropriate. "That's why I reacted 'why are you calling me that, you're outside bro, we know each other'. But El's response a few seconds later was 'okay bro, sorry bro, I got caught up in the heated moment', so after that we just made peace," he continued.
Syamsir emphasized that after the match, everything was fine and they remained friends. He also congratulated Colossus FC on their victory.
After the match ended, Syamsir Alam and El Rumi exchanged jerseys and hugged each other, as a sign of having forgiven one another.
