Cinta Laura has uploaded a letter on Instagram on Thursday (2/4). However, what is surprising is that the content of the letter states that she is the coronavirus. She also claims that this virus has a good purpose for humans.

She uploaded the letter in the form of an English video. Netizens were puzzled by Cinta's misguided statement.

1. Calls Himself Corona

In the letter, Cinta Laura mentions herself as the coronavirus. She states that this virus emerges because many humans do not care about each other, resulting in numerous criminal cases.

"A Letter From COVID-19: I am COVID-19. Some of you may only know me as Coronavirus. Yes, that's me. I apologize for coming without notice. I never warned you about my appearance or how I would manifest in your life. Why am I here?" writes Cinta Laura.

"Simply put, I am tired of seeing deviant behavior hindering progress. I am tired of seeing how your hands destroy everything they touch. I am tired of seeing how you treat the earth. I am tired of seeing how you treat each other. I am tired of witnessing violence and abuse in wars, personal conflicts, and prejudices," she adds.

Throughout the letter, Cinta Laura expresses her boredom with the behavior of humans who do not care for one another. She even states that this virus is actually a reflection of them.

"I am disgusted to see you argue about trivial and unimportant matters. I am sick of hearing you complain about the leaders and their bad decisions, when in reality, they are a representation of YOURSELF!" Cinta adds.

"I am a virus. My actions will claim many victims, but I want you to understand that change must happen for your own good! The truth is simple. You have seen your limitations in stopping me! Everything has suddenly stopped, so that you understand that the only important thing is: LIFE," she concluded.

2. Flood of Criticism

Of course, the letter is not an original writing from the coronavirus. Instead, it is the result of the actress's thoughts. Through this letter, she conveys that this virus can serve as a reminder for humans to become better individuals.

One of the artists, Andrea Dian, praised the opinion of the German-blooded actress. Andrea inserted four heart emojis in her comment column.

However, many netizens misunderstood the meaning of the letter. Netizens assumed that Cinta conveyed her message in an incorrect way.

Netizens said that they did not understand why she empathized with a virus. Additionally, some also said that the initial C in the username @claurakeihl stands for corona.
