Circulating 'Will Letter' from Mpok Alpa, Husband Clarifies Facts and Reveals Heartfelt Last Message

The passing of comedian Mpok Alpa forever has left a deep sorrow. Amid the atmosphere of grief, a photo of a handwritten note claimed to be the 'will letter' from the late comedian has circulated widely in the digital world and sparked public discussion.

Her husband, Aji Darmaji, finally spoke out to clarify the confusing news. When met at his residence in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, on Monday (18/8/2025), he firmly denied that Mpok Alpa ever wrote such a letter.

The circulated letter itself contains emotional farewell sentences for family, friends, and fans. However, Aji emphasized that the last message from his beloved wife was spoken verbally, not written.

According to Aji, the true will of Mpok Alpa before taking her last breath was focused on one thing that was most precious to her: the future of their children.

"Her will just before that night, just before she passed away, was like this, 'Dad, the children,' something like that. 'Children, make sure they get a good education, don’t let them go without milk, their food must also be enough,'" Aji Darmaji recounted, mimicking his wife's last words.

The grief that Aji feels is so palpable. He admitted that until now he has not had the strength to return to the bedroom filled with memories of the deceased. For him, every corner of the room seems to remind him of Mpok Alpa.

"Still the same as usual. Until now, I haven't entered the room. I haven't gone to the house over there. Because my memory, oh, it's very, you know, weak when I remember that, you know," he said in a soft voice.

Simple memories yet so deeply etched in his heart. He misses Mpok Alpa's attention in the morning the most, who always made sure all his needs were met before starting activities.

"What I miss is when she was about to leave. Because in the morning, she would leave earlier than I would, you know. Waking me up, 'Papa.' Fried rice is ready with what else on top, 'Mom, the way,' kissing my hand, just like that," he reminisced.
