Controversial artist, Nikita Mirzani, is back in court for the continuation of her trial related to allegations of extortion and Money Laundering (TPPU) that ensnare her. Appearing in her signature style, this mother of three made sharp comments before entering the courtroom.

The trial held at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (31/7/2025) was scheduled for witness examination by the Public Prosecutor (JPU), one of whom is Dr. Oky Pratama. This case originated from a report made by Reza Gladys regarding allegations of extortion.

When asked by the media about her activities while at the Pondok Bambu Detention Center in East Jakarta, Nikita Mirzani admitted to spending her time on activities that bring her closer to God.

"I only pray and read books while in detention," said Nikita Mirzani.

When asked if she became more religious while in custody, the 39-year-old woman gave a firm answer. She seemed to emphasize that the habit of worship is not new to her, she just never showcased it.

"Yes, I am indeed religious, do I have to post about my prayers? I pray, that's what I do," she replied.

The peak of her attention-grabbing comments was when she was asked about the possibility of the complainant, Reza Gladys, and her former friend, Fitri Salhuteru, attending the trial. With a sarcastic tone, Nikita stated that her trial is open to the public.
