Close Peace Door, ProAktif Label Ready to Face Rp 100 Billion Lawsuit from Syakir Daulay

Kapanlagi.com - ProAktif Label claims to have opened the door to reconciliation before the alleged breach of contract was brought to the South Jakarta District Court. Before there was any talk of peace, Syakir Daulay instead filed a civil lawsuit against ProAktif and two other parties, namely YouTube and Google, at the South Jakarta District Court.

The 18-year-old actor demands compensation from Agi Sugiyanto, the owner of ProAktif, amounting to Rp 100 billion. Meanwhile, Abdul Fakhridz Al Donggowi, the legal representative of Agi Sugiyanto and ProAktif, stated that since the beginning of this case, his client has been open to reconciliation with Syakir Daulay.

"The plaintiff (Syakir Daulay) instead asked for compensation," said Abdul Fakhridz Al Donggowi after the hearing at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (28/7).

1. Has Syakir Daulay's Youtube Channel Been Purchased?

Abdul Fakhridz said that ProAktif has indeed purchased Syakir Daulay's YouTube channel that has been in question. Not only that, ProAktif even claimed to have paid the monthly income from adsense obtained from the YouTube channel to Syakir Daulay.

"We bought the YouTube channel and gave him (Syakir Daulay) a 15 percent royalty. The total value that has been transferred to Syakir Daulay in April and May 2020 amounts to Rp 27 million," he said.

ProAktif is upset after Syakir Daulay, whom they have nurtured in the Indonesian entertainment industry, 'attacked' and filed a civil lawsuit in court.
ProAktif will no longer open the door for reconciliation with Syakir Daulay.

In addition, regarding the Rp 100 billion lawsuit, ProAktif considers the amount excessive and believes that Syakir Daulay is delusional. ProAktif is ready to face Syakir Daulay in court.

"We are ready to face and go through the trial. If Syakir can be valued at 100 billion, our client can be worth five times his claim," said Abdul Fakhridz.
