Coki Pardede Has Been Using Meth Since 8 Months Ago and Once Stopped

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Coki Pardede is one of the latest artists who got caught in a case of drug abuse. The duet partner of Tretan Muslim was arrested at his home in the Pagedanan District, Tangerang, on Wednesday (1/9).

He was not alone, Coki was arrested with a friend named Welly. From the arrest, the police confiscated meth and syringes as evidence. After undergoing a urine test, Coki and his friend were found positive for using Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.

According to the Head of Drug Enforcement Unit of Tangerang City Police AKBP Pratomo Widodo, Coki has been using meth since 8 months ago. The comedian, known for his dark jokes, did stop using drugs for a while but started using them again.

"He (Coki) started using 8 months ago and had stopped, but wanted to use again because he couldn't stop. His body wanted it again," said Pratomo Widodo when contacted on Thursday (2/9/2021).

Furthermore, Pratomo also explained the reasons why Coki uses methamphetamine. Who would have thought that initially he was just trying it out, before eventually becoming addicted.

"For the reason, initially he was just trying it out, then became addicted. From the beginning, it was just to boost his self-confidence," concluded Pratomo Widodo.
