Coki Pardede Named as a Suspect in Drug Abuse Case, Faces 6 Years in Prison

Kapanlagi.com - The Tangerang Metro City Police have named comedian Coki Pardede as a suspect in drug abuse along with two others, W and RA. W is a woman who acts as a courier, while RA is a dealer who supplies meth to Coki.

"We have temporarily named 3 people as suspects," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Yusri Yunus, during a press conference at the Tangerang Metro City Police, Saturday (4/9/2021).

These three suspects are charged under Article 114 Paragraph 1 subsidiary Article 112 juncto 132 Number 35 of 2009 concerning the Narcotics Law. Coki Pardede is facing imprisonment.

"The maximum penalty is 6 years in prison," said Yusri.

1. Searching for Drug Dealers

Yusri further stated that the police will continue to investigate and develop the case. Moreover, it turns out that there are still bigger drug dealers than RA.

"RA is a small player. But we will further investigate because there must be someone bigger than RA," he said.

In addition, the police will also conduct further examinations of W. Especially since W used to work as a crew and knows many public figures.

"He knows several public figures. This is what we will dig deeper into, whether he has ever supplied to other public figures," said Yusri.
