Collaborating with Tukul Arwana, Maria Vania Asks for Guidance

"Not at all. But I asked for guidance from Mas Tukul, like 'if it's like this, please help me, Mas.' But Mas Tukul is always kind, he gives motivation, he says 'you're good, you're great,' so I feel confident. Usually, he only gives the main briefing, and during filming, the strength lies in the improvisation of the actors," she said when contacted by Kapanlagi.com, Tuesday (29/9/2020).

She herself often gets motivation from Tukul. Even outside of filming, she often communicates with Tukul about how to become a comedian.

"When I'm not shooting, I often ask about how to become a comedian. Mas Tukul always tells and motivates me, he says you're good, just keep going. So I'm more motivated," he concluded.

TemuLawak is a comedy show enlivened by senior comedians from Srimulat, including Tukul Arwana. This show airs every Friday to Sunday midnight.
