"I am playing as Dirga. This might be my first experience as well because I have never played a role like this, and I am still not sure about it even now," Tora continued.

Tora Sudiro admits he misses playing in genres like this after focusing more on comedy roles in recent years. As a father of five children, he feels it has been a long time since he explored more serious and emotional roles like those in the film TUKAR TAKDIR.

"Actually, deep down in my heart, I have this longing for roles like this. Because all this time I've been comfortable with characters in the comedy genre," said Tora Sudiro.

4. Admits He Didn't Read the Script First

Feeling surprised and unprepared for the challenges ahead, Tora Sudiro even did not read the script for this film immediately when he first received the offer to join. He admitted he was confused with his new role, which is very different from what he usually plays.

The actor, who is now 51 years old, is determined to give his best by following every instruction given by the director, Mouly Surya.

"I started by not reading the script. I just let Bu Mouly handle it. Later I will follow what Bu Mouly says, 'Tora be quiet, Tora cry, Tora this,' I will try my best," said Tora Sudiro.
