The family finally explained how the complete chronology of the passing of Putri Zizi Novianti or Puput Novel occurred. Puput herself passed away on Sunday (9/8) at RS MMC Jakarta. Now, the deceased has been buried at TPU Sanjaya, South Jakarta, on Monday (9/9).
The younger sibling, Baginda, when met after the burial ceremony, said that Puput Novel had been suffering from breast cancer for 3 years.
After undergoing treatment, the cancer that the late one suffered from then spread to the lungs, heart, and began to affect liver function.
Even during the two days before passing away, Puput was said to be unconscious. Until finally, he was declared dead after undergoing treatment for four days.
"Yes, indeed, he has been unconscious for the past two days. He was on an IV and sedated," said Baginda.
Even regarding his illness, the deceased did not want many people to know. "He did not want to publicize his illness," he said.
"Indeed, for the last 3 years, he did not want to publicize his disease. He was private about his personal life," he continued.
"Closed off from personal life, many people know him only from his works. His personal life, both in hardship and joy, has indeed almost never been published," he concluded.
During his lifetime, the deceased had created a shelter for abandoned animals at his home. Before passing away, Puput Novel also advised that the animal shelter be maintained and continued.
