Asri Welas recently underwent a beauty procedure in South Korea. She had three procedures done at once: liposuction, facelift, and tummy tuck, to enhance her appearance in front of the camera.

"You know, I have three children, I gave birth, had a cesarean, so I still have souvenirs from that. In front of the camera, I want to look younger; I have eye bags and fat because I'm already 45, so tired, this procedure was done to feel fresher," said Asri Welas in Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (15/4/2025).

The star of the film Cocote Tonggo mentioned that this procedure was done comprehensively. She underwent it along with her child over a considerable period of time.

"Yes, I went there with Ibam, initially it was 7 hours, then it took up to 12 hours; my child was a bit worried when he saw me, 'Mommy!' it turned out to take longer than expected, but it's okay. So that the recovery is better," she said.

Asri does not deny feeling anxious before undergoing the procedure. However, she emphasizes that the decision has been carefully considered.

"Every action has consequences. But you shouldn't follow Asri Welas. If it's not necessary, I think you shouldn't, because I'm in front of the frame and in a work environment like this," she said.

According to Asri, the decision is purely due to work demands, not because of changes in her marital status. "That is my responsibility as someone who works in front of the camera. It's not because of anything else; if they say I'm single, it's all about self-improvement, not like that, because it is indeed a work requirement. So, it can be managed," she explained.

He emphasized that this action is a major operation, so it must be carried out with careful preparation and consideration. "The operation is a significant action, so it must be thought through properly. Why? The procedure takes a long time, from 7 to 12 hours. Furthermore, this is a major operation that puts us under anesthesia for a long time. We must ensure that undesirable things do not happen," he asserted.

Asri also reminded that she is a mother of three children, so she does not take unnecessary risks. "I have three children, if anything happens, it would be confusing. God forbid. I have calculated that. Of course, with proper research, so I truly believe in proceeding and not being overconfident," she said.

She added that this beauty procedure is not to drastically change the face or body, but to eliminate the fat that has been bothering her.

"Actually, this is not about changing but about removing fat. The fat that is on the cheeks, that souvenir (post childbirth). So if someone is not ready to make a change, don’t," she said.

"Because clearly, as soon as I finished, I realized 'oh right, something has changed'. That’s an old story, gone. So, I really know when something changes, what consequences are taken," concluded Asri Welas.
