Denny Cagur never expected to be on a career path as a member of the DPR. His long journey in the entertainment world has become a valuable asset towards the political stage. He also acknowledges that all his achievements as a politician in Senayan are inseparable from his career in the entertainment industry. Here is Denny Cagur's heartfelt expression.
"Happy with all the achievements in the entertainment world, struggling from the beginning of competitions, participating in various contests until becoming a national champion," said Denny Cagur when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Monday (14/4/2025).
Denny started his career from the bottom, and he was even doubted when he first entered the world of comedy. "During the first competition, people asked 'are you even funny?', until we finally became national champions," he recalled.
Together with the Cagur group formed in 1997, Denny has successfully built a long career of more than two decades in the entertainment industry.
"Fortunately, I still meet with the people all the time. In '97, we first started Cagur, and it has continued until today, Alhamdulillah for 25 years," he said.
Now, Denny is taking a big step by becoming a representative in Senayan. He calls this a new phase in his life. "Continuing to step into the next phase of life, now serving in Senayan," he said.
He is grateful for all the achievements and hopes to continue giving his best. "Happy with all the achievements, may he be granted smoothness, kept away from bad things, and continue to be healthy," said Denny.
For Denny Cagur, health and family are the main keys to seeing his children grow up well. "That’s all I hope for, to stay healthy with my wife to see the children grow up," he said. /aal
