Conducting Reconstruction of the Incident, Suspect Yudha Arfandi Accessed Swimming Pool CCTV Before Drowning Dante

Until now, the police have obtained statements from forensic doctors, advisors, digital analysts, and body language experts to provide an overview of the incident.

Reconstruction was carried out at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, which is considered the suspect's residence, as well as at the public swimming pool where Dante died.

Commissioner Pol Wira Satya Triputra of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police stated that in scene 13, the suspect did not admit to accessing the swimming pool CCTV before going to the location. However, based on digital analysis, the suspect has been proven to have done so.

"In scene 13 where he was heading to the swimming pool, there is one scene where the suspect did not admit to accessing the CCTV through internet browsing to check whether there was CCTV or not," said Wira after the reconstruction, Wednesday (28/2/2024).

"In fact, the suspect checked the CCTV through browsing. This has been proven from digital analysis," said Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra.

Wira conveyed that this finding from digital analysis can be additional evidence to support Article 340 regarding premeditated murder. From the digital analysis, the suspect accessed the CCTV through a mobile phone.

"The suspect YA accessed the CCTV through a mobile phone, this is based on digital analysis. This can be applied to Article 340 regarding premeditated murder," said Wira.

The reconstruction then continued at the swimming pool, where the victim died. A total of 102 scenes were reconstructed at the location.

"There are 69 scenes where the suspect drowned the victim 12 times. So, a total of 115 scenes were performed," explained Wira.

In addition to Angger Dimas and Tamara Tyasmara, the reconstruction process was also attended by the Public Prosecutor of DKI Jakarta and the investigative team. The police will continue to investigate this case thoroughly until clarity is obtained.

"The hope is to provide an overview of the chronology of this incident. In the future, we will conduct further examination and investigation, and this case can be resolved completely," concluded Wira.
