Wawan Iskandar, the Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Religious Court, confirmed the news when approached on Monday (15/7). He also mentioned that it was Kimberly who filed for divorce from Edward, her husband.

It is planned that Kimberly Rider's first hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. The hearing will take place at the Central Jakarta Religious Court.
"Yes, Ms. K (Kimberly). The first hearing will be on Wednesday, July 24, 2024," said Wawan Iskandar.
"The first agenda will definitely involve both the plaintiff and the defendant," he added.
Wawan also explained that both parties must attend mediation first. When asked further, Wawan said that in the lawsuit, Kimberly also requested custody of the child.
"If the parties are required to attend mediation, it must be pursued," he said.
"Yes, there are two, the petitioner requests custody," he added.
