Considered More Casual, Aurelie Moeremans Admits Feeling Comfortable Wearing Sneakers

Aurelie also considers that the Run Star Trainer collection is easy to mix and match with her style of dressing. 

"This also makes it easier for me to choose outfits, because in my daily life I prefer a casual style without having to bother choosing footwear. Moreover, I also tend to choose outfits that suit my mood," she explained.

As a shoe enthusiast, Aurelie Moeremans admits that she has long idolized the shoes often worn by Avril Lavigne. "Initially, because I like Avril Lavigne. She always wears Converse shoes, so I remember very well, my first Converse shoes were Chuck Taylor All Star," she said.

For years, Aurelie has remained loyal to wearing Chuck Taylor models, even though she has tried other models.

"So for years, I keep wearing them, it's like that. And then when I had my own money, I tried other shoes, but most of them are similar to Chuck Taylor," she said.

On that occasion, Aurelie also expressed her fondness for the Run Star Trainer series, which is considered a new visual.

"This is the first time I've worn something like this from Converse, and I really like it because even though it's new, I still feel the classic vibes," she said.

Converse Run Star Trainer is the latest creation inspired by the past and designed for modern life. This collection comes in five colors: Golden Wren, Blue, Red, Egret (white), and Black.

According to Dian Firstiana Larasati, Senior Brand Marketing Manager of Converse Indonesia, this latest collection draws inspiration from 20 heritage silhouettes of the American brand.

Initially, these shoes were made specifically for various sports, including karate, fencing, soccer, wrestling, high jump, and hurdles.

"But it must be emphasized that 'Run Star Trainer' is a fashion shoe, a lifestyle shoe, and cannot be used for sports at all. It's just that the design is indeed inspired by sports shoes," explained Dian.
