Create a Song for Eko Patrio's Child, Melly Goeslaw Assisted by Her Husband and Child

Kapanlagi.com - Singer and songwriter Melly Goeslaw wrote a song titled "Ku Ingin Bisa" (I Want to Be Able) for Eko Patrio's child, Nayla Ayu Adrevi. In working on this song, Melly Goeslaw collaborated with her child, Abe Hoed. Melly Goeslaw's interest in writing a song for Nayla is because she wanted to create a work for millennial singers, including Nayla Ayu Adrevi.

"I always look for something new, so there is regeneration, development, and new variations in music. I had a gathering with Viona. I saw what Viona posted about Nayla and I was interested," said Melly Goeslaw at the Ekomando office in East Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/11/2020).

"So, my menu this year is through Nayla, I believe in it because Nayla's voice represents the current generation. With my touch and Abe's ingredients, it will be special, God willing," continued Melly Goeslaw.

In working on the song "Ku Ingin Bisa" (I Want to Be Able), Melly was assisted by her husband, Anto Hoed, and her child, Abe Hoed.

"I creatively made the melody, Abe helped with the arrangement, and Anto perfected it. Then it was sent to Viona (Nayla's mother). Then I like to write quirky lyrics, but the lyrics are adjusted to Nayla, who will turn 16 tomorrow," said Melly Goeslaw.

Melly Goeslaw is happy that Nayla can pursue a career in music. It turns out that the artistic talent possessed by Eko Patrio and Viona can be passed down to their child even in the world of music.

"When I asked Viona, Nayla apparently wants to sing seriously, not just in the bathroom. Finally, during the pandemic, I made a song for Nayla with the help of Abe. I think it's good to be assisted by the current generation. If I collaborate with Abe, there are variations and formats or formulas that I usually use to make it a hit," said Melly Goeslaw.

2. Talent from a Young Age

According to Nayla's father, Eko Patrio, his child's talent in music has been evident since a young age. Seeing this, Eko Patrio immediately provided a vocal teacher for Nayla to further refine her vocal skills.

"Nayla's voice has been good since she was young, her mother said her voice is really good. I have one regret, why didn't Viona sing before, so now it's the child's turn. So it all falls into place, this child has to understand music, articulation, technique, and know the notes. Because she wants to sing, I only called a singing teacher, so she can learn the technical aspects," said Eko Patrio.
