Kapanlagi.com - Amidst the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the beautiful artist Nia Ramadhani has successfully realized her dream of building a foundation called Yayasan KITA (Our Foundation). She was not alone in this endeavor, as Nia Ramadhani was assisted by six of her friends who shared the same dream of building a foundation.
"During the initial period of home quarantine, we had a virtual discussion where I personally expressed my long-held dream of having a foundation. I don't know why, but I just wanted to share it with my friends. And it turned out that they had the same desire and dream," said Nia Ramadhani at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, on Friday (24/7/2020).
1. Initially Hesitant

As it turns out, Nia Ramadhani was initially hesitant to establish the KITA Foundation. Because of that, the mother of three was afraid of being called pretentious.
"In this day and age, having a social dream is scary because people might think you're pretending to be good. But when I mustered the courage to speak up, it was actually well-received. So we started this creative movement and turned it into our new foundation. This is our first activity after becoming a foundation because it's not easy to handle the paperwork to establish this foundation," she said.
2. Creating a Virtual Concert
The inaugural movement of the KITA Foundation is organizing a virtual concert called 'Kreasi atau Kreatif Dalam Berdonasi' (Creativity in Donation). It is a donation event packaged in the form of a virtual music concert. The proceeds from this donation will be directed towards art workers, especially those in the field of puppetry, reog, and gamelan who have been affected by Covid-19.
"We do love live music, we love dancing, but we also want to have fun while donating. We want to explore their perspectives. So, how can we create an exciting activity?" Nia Ramadhani concluded.
