The menu battle initially started from the spicy comments made by Codeblu when tasting Rocca's creme brulee. According to him, the texture presented was wet and mushy, not in line with the common standard of creme brulee where the surface is hard with a creamy and soft texture.

They then exchanged arguments on their respective Instagram accounts, to the point of having to fight each other in a gym in West Jakarta. Finally, they agreed to end it by doing a menu battle to prove whose creme brulee is the most delicious.
