Criticism for Removing Hijab and Accused of Seeking Attention to Kekeyi, Beautiful Model in 'Keke Bukan Boneka' Music Video Speaks Out

Some people focused on the only female model in the video because of her beauty. But there were also those who accused her of seeking attention from Kekeyi in order to gain more followers.

After staying silent for a while, this Instagram influencer with around 16 thousand followers finally spoke up. She was annoyed by the accusations and the fact that some netizens approached her directly. She clarified the situation through her Insta Story on the @yrds_mita account.

"At first, I wanted to stay silent because I thought I could handle it. But because many people came and I found it disrespectful, I want to speak up. I've known Miko for a long time. I was able to meet and get to know Kekeyi because of Miko," wrote Mita.

Mita also explained that she knew Kekeyi through Miko. Previously, she had known Miko for quite a long time, but only recently got to know Kekeyi after the YouTuber from Kertosono wanted to create a new project.

"When Kak Kekey has a new project and needs some support teams, I was invited through Miko (because Miko was involved). Every time we meet, it's for training or discussing the project. Regarding the YouTube content, it was also taken in between training sessions. I have no intention of comparing myself to Kak Kekeyi. I have no intention or expectation of being praised either. If I wanted attention, I would be the one who comes to Kak Kekeyi first. For any reason. Besides, I don't ask for any content to be included in my social media. Kak Kekeyi and her family are really nice. We are just normal friends (because we are both from the same village, just like others). So please filter your comments first if you want to comment," Mita explained.

2. Criticism Because of Removing Hijab

In her clarification, Mita also discussed the criticism from netizens because she removed her hijab when she became a model for Kekeyi's music video. Regarding this matter, Mita explained that she still likes to wear and remove her hijab, so it shouldn't be made a big deal.

"I'm sorry, but I still wear and remove my hijab," she wrote.

Mita also expressed her gratitude for all the support she has received. On her personal account @yrds_mita, this Nganjuk-based influencer did not upload any photos with Kekeyi or the music video Keke Bukan Boneka, which has now been deleted by YouTube.
