"I'm more touched because this is a moment that Ricis herself, the Ricis family, and my late father have been waiting for. Because my late father used to say that hopefully (Ricis) will find a good man, someone who can guide and protect her," said Ria Ricis when met after the event at the JW Marriott Hotel, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday (23/9).
It is known that Ria Ricis' father, Sulyanto, passed away on June 4, 2021. At that time, Ria Ricis was in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara with poor signal conditions.
Ria Ricis is very grateful to finally find the right match at the right time. Her dream of building a family will soon come true.
"Allah sent a brother at the right time, hopefully, humans can plan but Allah determines. So Ricis is more grateful, Alhamdulillah," said Ria Ricis.
"Because this is what Ricis has been dreaming of for several years and what the Ricis family and the late father have been dreaming of. I feel, oh Allah, my dream is one step closer to being realized," she continued.
The youngest of three siblings also revealed her reasons for being firm in marrying Teuku Ryan. Besides having a polite personality and good religious values, Teuku Ryan is a firm figure who can guide and direct Ria Ricis towards a better path.
"What makes me firm is, first, when Ricis saw him, he is a polite person, his manners are good, he never misses his prayers, and he is a firm person, so he can make a choice," explained Ria Ricis.
"Ricis is the youngest, so she tends to look for guidance, where should I go, should I follow. Alhamdulillah, Allah sent a brother who Ricis should be like this, should be like that, okay, okay, and everything is good, so Ricis feels guided. So, God willing, I am more confident and it feels like I've reached the limit, no need to search anymore, it's right in front of me," she concluded.
