Currently on Vacation in Japan, Jessica Mila and Enzy Storia Share News Regarding Their Condition After the Earthquake

Kapanlagi.com - A strong earthquake struck Japan on Monday (1/1/2024) yesterday. The 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit the sea side of Japan in the main island of Honshu.

As it turns out, several Indonesian artists were in Japan to spend their New Year vacation, such as Jessica Mila and Enzy Storia. Immediately, fans started asking about their condition.

And to answer their fans' concerns, both Enzy and Jessica updated their condition on their respective Instagram accounts. Check out the story below..

1. Update from Enzy Storia

Enzy claimed that she is currently doing fine. In fact, Molen Kasetra's wife did not feel the earthquake in Japan because she was inside a car.

"Morning! Thank you to friends who have contacted and asked about the earthquake in Japan yesterday. Alhamdulillah, we are safe and sound. During the earthquake, I didn't feel anything because I was in the car, I can't imagine if I was still in the hotel room. Hopefully, everyone stays safe and there are no aftershocks," Enzy wrote in her Story post.

2. Update from Jessica Mila

Similar to Enzy, Jessica also mentioned that she didn't feel the earthquake at all. At the time of the incident, she was on the road from Tokyo to Hakuba.

"There was an earthquake on the road from Tokyo to Hakuba.. So I didn't feel anything at all. I saw the news and there was also a potential Tsunami. Hopefully, everyone is safe," wrote a woman named Putri Hasibuan, which was then reposted by Jessica Mila while agreeing.

3. Claiming More Than 20 Lives

The devastating earthquake in Japan has claimed the lives of more than 20 people. A series of aftershocks are expected to continue for several days, with over 100 aftershocks recorded.

The earthquake was also reported to have the potential for a tsunami over one meter high. However, a few hours later, the Japan Meteorological Agency issued an early tsunami warning.

Nevertheless, the public must remain vigilant for the possibility of larger aftershocks.
