Custody of Gala Sky is Contested by the Family of the Late Vanessa Angel and Bibi Andriansyah, Gus Miftah Speaks Out

Kapanlagi.com - Regarding the children of the late Vanessa Angel and Bibi Andriansyah, Galasky is still being discussed. Both families have applied for custody of Galasky after the passing of their parents.

Therefore, Gus Miftah spoke up about this matter. According to him, from the perspective of Islamic law, Gus Miftah explained that the person who is worthy of caring for Gala is the closest person.

"The person closest to the child, whether it's the grandparents, uncles, or whoever is agreed upon by the family. We shouldn't let the children become victims because of custody rights," said Gus Miftah, after the study at Omah Asa, Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday afternoon (23/11).

1. Hoping the Family Does Not Fight

The man who guided Deddy Corbuzier to convert to Islam also requested that the family not fight over custody of the child. In addition, Galasky is already considered an orphan, so anyone can take care of him, but all decisions are left to the extended family.

"The person who is most entitled to take care of this child is the one closest to him. Let's not fight over it, if possible, take care of him together," he said.

"Even the context of being an orphan includes us. We help the late Vanessa's child. Who he stays with is up to the family to decide what is best for this child. The closest and still from the same lineage. The grandmother, if unable, then the older or younger sister, whoever is most entitled to be the guardian if it's a girl, for example, if the father is absent, then the uncle is entitled," he concluded.

It is known that the custody polemic of Gala Sky Ardiansyah is still ongoing between the Vanessa Angel family and Bibi Ardiansyah. The late Bibi Ardiansyah's father, H. Faisal, filed for custody of the child at the West Jakarta Religious Court, while the late Vanessa Angel's father, Doddy Sudrajat, filed at the Central Jakarta Religious Court.
