Cut Tary is now starting to venture into the world of web series by participating in the original WeTV project titled Samuel. This beautiful woman admits she still has a lot to learn to adjust her speaking style so it doesn't come off as stiff like in soap operas.

"For series, the way of speaking is just casual, right? But in soap operas, it’s a bit more formal, right? Maybe this is just casual, you know, it means practicing by myself even for unimportant sentences I still study again," said Cut Tari when met in the Gandaria area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (13/6/2026).

The wife of Richard Kevin feels challenged to break the old acting patterns that have become deeply ingrained in her. She wants to deliver a more natural performance that resonates with the tastes of today's audience.

"Because when it's a soap opera, it already has a pattern like that. But through the series, I'm trying to soften the dialogue again," she said.

Although she is starting to get addicted to acting in series format, Cut Tary emphasizes that she is very selective in choosing titles. She considers many aspects, especially regarding the genre and the moral message conveyed in the story.

"If it's something like this, I mean it's safe, I would definitely take it. But we have to be picky. Because not all web series are safe for me now," she said.

This 48-year-old actress firmly rejects offers that contain adult content or are categorized as 18 and over. For her, comfort and alignment of the character with her true personality remain the top priority.

"What is 'safe' in quotes? Is it parenting or what genre is it? Yes, the genre, I mean the genre really has to be looked at, for example, if it's something inappropriate, then I won't do it," she said.

She feels that the story in the Samuel series is very positive because it highlights the very close family relationships. Cut Tary also joked about her age, saying she is still very young to appear youthful in front of the public.
