Tengku Dewi Putri Willing to Work at a Cafe During Eid for the Kids with Andrew Andika

The moment of Eid yesterday was a true testament to the resilience of a Tengku Dewi Putri as a mother. She was willing to sacrifice to give her children the chance to celebrate the holiday with Andrew Andika.

Dewi even personally took her children to Andrew's parents' house, which is located near her residence. She saw her ex-husband doing a family photo session with his new wife.

"It was funny when I took them to their grandmother's house; they were having a family photo session in the house I used to live in because we used to live there together and then it was occupied by their grandmother," said Tengku Dewi when met by KapanLagi in the Buncit Raya area, South Jakarta, some time ago.

Instead of feeling sad or jealous, Dewi actually feels proud because she is able to control her emotions very well. She prioritizes her child's happiness so that they can experience a complete Eid moment.

"But I am proud of myself, I feel like it's just like 'wow, it's crazy to live like I used to there' but I care more about what's important, which is my kids being happy celebrating Eid moments, after that it's just the kids with Andrew and his family and his wife," she expressed.

While her children are celebrating the holiday with their father, Dewi chooses to spend her time working. She goes to a café to finish her work on her laptop alone.

"I was just looking for a coffee place yesterday while I was working on my laptop. Then the lady called, 'I'm done, Ma'am, Dad has picked me up,' so I didn't want to complicate things," she said.

Dewi admitted that she did not want to create drama that could ruin her children's happy atmosphere. She felt relieved when she found out that her child was being well taken care of by Andrew and his new family. "What matters to me is that my child is safe, so they are being taken care of well," she said.

Now Dewi feels that the communication between her and Andrew's side has improved through the household staff. She does not want to complicate things as long as her child continues to receive genuine affection.

"Um, he already ordered, 'Can the kids come for Eid with me later?', like that, but he said it to Ms. like that, and my family is not here either, I took him there," he concluded.
