Cycling seems to be an activity that Sandy PAS Band enjoys. It is known that this hobby is not new to him.
He admitted to frequently cycling since he was young. Eventually, he met a community and decided to build his own favorite bike.
"I started cycling seriously again in 2009 when I was influenced by new friends in another complex in Cibubur, and I bought a used Polygon Zero bike for 1.3 million rupiahs. Then I met the leaders of the cyclists in Cibubur and Bekasi (KRACC community) who offered me a KHS XC-204 frame, which I built and became my pride and joy for years, going to Cikole, Curugpanjang, Nura, KTH, and others," he said.
Not only roadbike, he also has a folding bike and uses it for leisurely rides, even joining his community.
"I am also a member of the Instagram community @pesepedaArcadian using a folding bike for on road," he added.
Interestingly, he rarely rides with fellow artists, as the scheduling process is a bit complicated according to Sandy.
Sandy is currently preparing himself. He has decided to cycle to Nepal with his club next year.
He is training as much as possible to stay fit for the cycling trip to Nepal. Sandy will join his team to conquer the roads of Nepal.
