Kapanlagi.com - Cosplay has become a hobby of its own for Fanda Kanugrahaeni, better known by her stage name Cypon. She has been involved in the world of cosplay since 2012, when she was in the 2nd grade of junior high school.
This woman from Cilacap, born on August 20, 1999, initially became interested in cosplaying by trying out the character Rikka Takanashi from the anime Chunnibyou. However, at that time she was still shy.
"At that time, my first wig and cosplay were for Rikka Takanashi. Then, in 2015, I heard and found out that there was a Japanese event in my hometown, so I tried attending my first event, but I didn't dare to cosplay because I didn't know how to do makeup and I didn't have a complete costume, so I was embarrassed," she said.

After returning from the event, the owner of the Instagram account @ci.pon began to seriously delve into cosplay and became a cosplayer who is now well known to the public, especially cosplay enthusiasts.
Now, Cypon not only participates in local events, but also often joins national cosplay events.
"I participate in competitions at every event, the most memorable ones were the events in Purwokerto and Bogor where I won," she said.

Cypon said that she took a break from the cosplay world from 2019 to 2021. This was because during that period, she had to work in Jakarta and coincided with the Covid-19 pandemic.
"I made a comeback in cosplay in 2021 as Himiko Toga, my favorite character. Currently, I am involved in a dance cover project and cosplaying the character Honkai Star Rail. Also, I have a routine of documenting photography with Dipqi Ghozali at various cosplay events in Yogyakarta," she explained.
