Ryan Thomas Gosling is an actor and musician born in Canada on November 12, 1980. He was raised in Cornwall, Ontario, by his parents who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From a young age, he began participating in talent shows with his sister in dance competitions.

He completed his education up to high school at Lester B. Pearson High School. During his childhood, he was known as a troublemaker. From not knowing how to read to one day bringing a steak knife to school and throwing it at his classmates, influenced by the movie FIRST BLOOD that he watched.
