Daus Mini Didn't Expect Komeng to Get the Most Votes, Hopes to Accommodate the Aspirations of the Small People

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Daus Mini didn't expect that Alfiansyah Bustami Komeng was chosen the most by the public to become a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) in the 2024 election held on Wednesday (14/2).

"Alhamdulillah. We all know what kind of person Bang Komeng is. From the beginning, we thought it was just a joke, not something serious in that direction," said Daus Mini when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Friday (16/2).

"But that's the Indonesian people, especially in West Java and surrounding areas. Alhamdulillah, they voted, they chose Bang Komeng," added Daus.

According to Daus, one of the things that made people finally decide to vote for Komeng is because of the absurd photo used by Komeng in the 2024 election ballot.

"The second thing is that the photo is the most absurd and mocking, so people voted for him. At that time, there were 3, in West Java, the artists were Bang Komeng, Teh Jihan, and Kang Ogi," said Daus.

2. Hopes for Komeng

As a friend, Daus hopes that Komeng can accommodate the aspirations of the people in the future. Moreover, Komeng is one of the comedians who sits as a representative of the people.

"Alhamdulillah, it's also a pride, having an older brother representing the aspirations of ordinary people," said Daus.

"We hope to be more respected and not looked down upon, especially people like Daus, that's it. Bang Komeng released a statement saying that he has a building but no people, hopefully that can be realized by Bang Komeng and his intentions can go well," he concluded.
