Deciding to Get Married Despite Knowing Each Other for a Short Time, Roro Fitria and Andre Irawan Share Their Introduction Process

Today, they held a religious gathering before the wedding in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, on Friday (12/24) afternoon. When met after the event, Roro and Andre shared their story of how they met.

"We knew each other in a short period of time. Fate, death, and fortune do not go anywhere. Less than a year of knowing each other, we had a taaruf (Islamic pre-marital introduction), we had never met before, only saw each other's photos, and then we met in a gathering with a religious council and an ustaz," said Andre Irawan.

1. No Obstacles

Andre also said that the process leading up to his wedding day with Roro Fitria encountered no obstacles. According to him, because the intention of getting married is for worship, both of them were given ease by the Creator.

"Our intention to get married from the beginning is for worship, and the manifestation of our love for each other is also because of Allah, so we can reach this point and be given ease," said Andre.

In addition, in the same occasion, Roro also responded to some comments about her and her future husband having similar faces. According to her, indeed, in Javanese belief, this is a sign of a soulmate, but again, because the intention of getting married is for worship.

"Indeed, according to Javanese people, if the faces are similar, it's a sign of a soulmate, but only Allah knows, because we believe that getting married is worship to reach heaven," concluded Roro Fitria.

3. Age Difference of 10 Years

Roro is not hesitant to reveal the identity of her future husband. According to Roro, Andre is a divorced businessman who is 10 years older than her.

"He is 10 years older than me. He is a divorced man," said Roro Fitria.

4. Already Has Children

When asked about the identity of Roro Fitria's future husband, Basirun stated that Andre Irawan is a divorcee with children. Andre himself is a businessman.

"Mr. Andre has been married before. They got married a long time ago but then separated, I don't know why. Mr. Andre also has children," said Basirun, Head of the Mampang Prapatan Office of Religious Affairs, South Jakarta.

5. Six Months of Introduction

Before finally deciding to get married, Roro Fitria and Andre apparently went through a six-month introduction process. Now, they are determined to step into the realm of marriage.

"After getting to know each other, we decided to do an introduction. We got to know each other and went through this introduction process for six months. Because we want to perform our religious duties. Marriage is a religious duty, and we don't want to commit sins by dating," she said.
