Kapanlagi.com - On July 10, the entertainment industry was shocked by the social media post of Nathalie Holscher. The woman decided to take off her hijab and posed with long flowing hair.
The post surprised Ustaz Derry Sulaiman greatly. The famous preacher immediately contacted the mother of one child.
"I called her. I was surprised and felt guilty. Because we had previously arranged to meet but I was busy preaching," said Ustaz Derry when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday (17/8/2023).
In the phone conversation, Nathalie Holscher explained in detail what made her take off her hijab. She also promised Ustaz Derry Sulaiman that she would not upload sexy photos like before.
"After we talked, Nathalie convinced me. She said, 'Ustaz, I won't post anything sexy. I just want to take off the hijab temporarily, hopefully I can put it back on later. If I make a mistake, please correct me directly'," explained Ustaz Derry.
On that occasion, Ustaz Derry Sulaiman did not criticize Nathalie Holscher for her decision. He only hoped that Nathalie would study religion more diligently and wear the hijab again.
"With this incident, hopefully Nathalie will study religion more diligently and decide to wear (the hijab) again. As outsiders, we can only speak kindly and have good intentions towards Allah," emphasized Ustaz Derry.
