Declared Suspects, Gisella Anastasia and Michael Yukinobu Defretes Will Be Charged with Multiple Articles

Kapanlagi.com - Initially denying the fact that the woman in the viral 19-second video was her, Gisella Anastasia finally admitted the accusation. It was recently revealed that the man in the video is a basketball player with the initials MYD, alias Michael Yukinobu Defretes.

Just like Gisella Anastasia, Michael Yukinobu Defretes is now also a suspect. The Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Yusri Yunus, spoke up during a press conference held today, Wednesday (30/12).

It was revealed that Gisel and Michael will be charged with multiple articles, "Based on the investigation, they are suspected under Article 4 in conjunction with Article 29 of Law No. 44 concerning pornography. Also under Article 8 in conjunction with Article 34 of Law No. 44. And Article 27 of the ITE Law."

1. Will Undergo Examination

Furthermore, the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Pol Yusri Yunus, also stated that Gisella Anastasia and Michael Yukinobu Defretes will undergo examination. If they are unable to attend, both of them will go through the next legal mechanism.

"Both of them are already suspects, further action will be taken by summoning them as suspects. We plan to bring in Sister GA and Brother MYD for examination as suspects on January 4, 2021, at 10 am. Hopefully, both of them can attend," he said.

2. Detention Period

When asked about the detention period that will be served, Commissioner Pol Yusri Yunus could not provide a definite answer, "We will see the results of the examination next year. Whether or not there will be detention will be determined later."

Regarding Gisel's status as a mother of one child, Commissioner Pol Yusri Yunus has his own answer. Based on the results of the examination, the decision for the former wife of Gading Marten will be determined.

"Yes, that's correct, but we will still summon her. The (result) depends on the examination. If she indeed has a child, there will be trauma healing accompanied by the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) and the child unit at the Jakarta Metro Police. There will definitely be training. (Now) we will still proceed with the summons," he concluded.
