Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Opie Kumis admits that the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted his family's economy.
His income has significantly decreased compared to before the pandemic. However, Opie remains grateful for his current condition.
"If (the income decreases), it's obvious, but there's no need to dwell on it. This is the time given by Allah, so we just accept it," said Opie Kumis when met at Trans TV building, Jakarta, on Thursday (28/1/2021).
Opie's two wives fortunately understand his significantly reduced income due to the pandemic. As a result, this 60-year-old man is not too worried about the family's economy.
"In this situation, the wives are not angry, they also understand. They are both harmonious and safe. If they didn't understand, I could change personnel," he said while laughing.
Opie stated that during the pandemic, he spends more time engaging in activities that bring him peace, such as taking care of his pet birds.
"When there are no jobs, I just laugh and play with the birds, it's important to relax," he said.
