Defamed by Singer Lea Elfara, Entrepreneur Puspo Wardoyo Provides Clarification

Kapanlagi.com - Renowned entrepreneur Puspo Wardoyo feels defamed by singer and socialite named Lea Elfara. Initially, Lea Elfara was asked by Puspo Wardoyo to become a star in one of his latest products. However, when they met, Lea Elfara instead presented a new project.

To Puspo Wardoyo, Lea Elfara mentioned that she wanted to release a religious album that she would market in the month of Ramadan 2017. Upon meeting, Puspo Wardoyo immediately gave Lea Elfara 1 billion rupiahs. The money was a form of collaboration with Lea Elfara for a product, not a new album project.

"Just after meeting her, she said 'Mr. Puspo, I want to release a Ramadan single and this is the perfect collaboration' she asked for 1 billion rupiahs. I didn't know who she was, didn't know her at all," said Puspo Wardoyo during a virtual press conference on Wednesday (24/3/2021).

"I returned and the next morning she asked for a transfer, I emphasized 'Miss, this is a collaboration, not me giving assistance' after that, I asked for help from my team to handle the issue because I had already transferred the money to her," he continued.

After giving 1 billion rupiah, the planned cooperation regarding the product did not go smoothly. Even Lea Elfara's album project has not been realized yet. Finally, Puspo Wardoyo felt cheated and asked Lea Elfara to return the money.

Instead of receiving 1 billion rupiah, Puspo Wardoyo was falsely accused by Lea Elfara. Lea Elfara claimed that the money given by Puspo Wardoyo was a dowry. Of course, the word dowry uttered by Lea Elfara made many people think that Puspo Wardoyo planned to get married again.

"I am embarrassed in front of my family if it is said that the money is my dowry and that I want to get married again. They were also called by their friends saying that Mr. Puspo wants to get married again," he said.

2. Puspo Wardoyo Wants Lea Elfara to Apologize

Puspo Wardoyo wants Lea Elfara to apologize for what was said. Since she has not apologized, Puspo Wardoyo finally reported Lea Elfara to the police. Now, the alleged embezzlement and fraud case has reached the court. Lea Elfara has been found guilty by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) and sentenced to 2 years in prison.

"Yes, I just want to prove that this 1 billion rupiah is not a dowry. And if it is said that I mistreated a woman, it's not true," concluded Puspo Wardoyo.
