"The meaning is, we have given a chance for peace. But there is nothing agreed upon that has not been done, twice. So, it's said to be disappointed, disappointed. Ijonk made peace but instead got reported," said Benny Simanjuntak at the South Jakarta Metro Police, on Tuesday (7/9/2021).

Benny said that Jonathan would not bother giving clarification to the police if Dhena had not reported him before. Moreover, his nephew has never been violent towards Dhena. "Even though Ijonk (Jonathan Frizzy) wouldn't defend himself if he wasn't called or summoned, he would just be indifferent. But because he was summoned, he had to defend himself. He never hit his wife, he even defended himself when being hit," he said.

Many people think that Benny is too meddlesome in Jonathan and Dhena's domestic affairs. As an uncle, Benny said it's normal for him to defend his nephew because he is innocent. Moreover, he also has to help clean Jonathan Frizzy's tarnished reputation due to Dhena Devanka's report.

"The artist here is Jonathan, not Dhena. The one who needs to restore their reputation is Jonathan Frizzy, not Dhena. Dhena is Jonathan's wife. So, it needs to be emphasized that the one who needs their name cleared is Jonathan Frizzy, people know Jonathan Frizzy, you know," said Benny.
