Denada's Deep Sadness, Admits She Didn't Want to Eat During Conflict with Her Child

Behind her relieved smile today, Denada Elizabeth Anggia Ayu Tambunan has actually gone through a very tough time. Her conflict with Ressa Rizky Rossano regarding the acknowledgment of her biological child has shaken her mental state.

Denada admitted to losing her will to live and appetite for months due to this emotional pressure. She spent a lot of time crying and praying, trying to accept the situation that had occurred in her life. Here are the details.

"For months, I hardly stopped crying. Every time I bowed down to pray to God, I cried. My mom taught me not to protest, not to question 'why is this happening'," she said when met in the Senopati area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (23/4/2026).

This conflict peaked when Ressa demanded legal recognition at the end of 2025 through the Banyuwangi District Court. The public was shocked by the fact that Denada had a child who had not been exposed and was living in Banyuwangi.

In the midst of these difficult times, Denada felt greatly supported by her management team and closest friends. They not only provided emotional encouragement, but also accompanied her directly to ensure she maintained her physical condition.

"They came, held my hand, helped me. Even just to eat, I needed to be accompanied. They stayed by my side until late at night," she said.

That support slowly helped her rise and come to terms with her situation. Denada realized that as a mother, she has the responsibility to keep her heart open and pray for her child.

"All of that is part of life’s journey. No one wants to fail in marriage, but that is part of the journey. My duty as a mother is to keep praying," said the singer of the song Mutha Futha.

Now, Denada chooses to move forward. She is determined not to be trapped in sadness, confusion, fear, or shame, and wants to focus on being a better mother for her two children.

She also admits to being grateful because she feels she gained strength at the lowest point of her life. For her, every event that occurs is part of God's plan that must be lived with sincerity and used as a foundation to become a stronger person.
