Happiness is enveloping the couple Denny Sumargo and Olivia Allan, who now have a beautiful first child, Gabriella Allan. However, as if not wanting to wait too long, the couple, affectionately called Densu and Ci Oliv, already has big plans to immediately undergo a pregnancy program for their second child. This surprising yet joyful news was revealed directly by Olivia Allan. The moment occurred after she and Densu attended the 27th anniversary celebration of Morula IVF at Pullman Central Park, Jakarta, on Sunday (27/7/2025).
Not without reason, Olivia admitted that she wants to take advantage of the momentum while she is still accustomed to the rhythm of caring for a baby. For her, going through a second pregnancy in the near future is the most suitable choice. "I'm the one breastfeeding, I'm the one pregnant. So I want to do it right away," said Olivia Allan enthusiastically.
In addition, age is a major consideration for Olivia, who is now 39 years old, and Densu, who is turning 44. Interestingly, Ci Oliv also expressed a funny reason that brought smiles. She feels this is the right time while her body is still full after giving birth. "Well, I've already gained weight, so why not just go for it," she said while laughing. Â
Hearing his wife's enthusiasm, Denny Sumargo responded in his usual relaxed yet supportive manner. The former national basketball player agreed with the idea, reasoning that the fatigue of taking care of a child can be felt all at once. "Yeah, let’s just get tired together, as we say," added Densu.
For the process, this couple will return to the in vitro fertilization (IVF) path with Dr. Arie A. Polim. Natural pregnancy is not recommended considering Olivia's history of having experienced a miscarriage. The Genetic Preimplantation Assessment (GPT-A) technology will be used again to ensure that the implanted embryo is the best and healthiest.
"If you look at the history of pregnancy, I have already said not to go for a natural one, because I have been pregnant normally twice. It's easy to get pregnant, but it can lead to miscarriage and abnormalities. Especially with age increasing," explained Dr. Arie.
This couple does not deny their hope of having a baby boy in their second pregnancy, to complete their small family with a pair. However, they remain resigned to God's will. When asked about the possibility of having more than two children, Densu closed it with a final answer that invited laughter. "Masyaallah, it's tiring to earn the money, bro," concluded Denny Sumargo.
