"Alhamdulillah yesterday we were given the opportunity to bid farewell, ask for forgiveness, and request blessings from our family and friends," wrote Ananda Omesh in the caption of his post on Sunday (25/5).
He and his wife also apologized for any mistakes they may have made. This moment is usually performed by prospective pilgrims who are about to depart for the Holy Land.
"We both apologize for the mistakes we have made, we ask for the best prayers from all our friends," continued Omesh.
"May Allah forgive our sins, ease our hearts, strengthen our bodies, and accept our good deeds. May we continue to pray for each other in goodness," he concluded.
The farewell event was filled with emotion. While hugging, tears fell from Omesh, Dian Ayu, and the family who would be left behind for a while.
Ferry Maryadi, Deswita Maharani, Imam Darto, Soleh Solihun, came to pray for their friend at that moment.
Several other artist friends and netizens also prayed through their messages in the comments section of the post.
