Derry Empat Sekawan Mentioned Late Edy Oglek as a Religious Actor

Edy Oglek passed away after being diagnosed with Covid-19. According to Edy's friend, Derry Empat Sekawan, the actor of the soap opera TUKANG BUBUR NAIK HAJI was known for his humor, religiousness, and concern for others.

"He was good, humorous, liked to joke around. Whenever we met, he was never serious, always joking. He was religious, cared about others who were in need. In terms of goodness, he was very supportive. His death was not burdensome, it was short," said Derry when contacted on Monday (28/6).

1. There's a Soap Opera Project

For the past few weeks, Edy Oglek has still been actively carrying out his usual routine. In fact, he is also currently working on a project with Nova Soraya.

"He's shooting with Nova Soraya, already shot, already promoted, already a promo. He said he wants to make another promo, wants to shoot again, even though he was healthy a few weeks ago. It seems like the soap opera stripping has already made a promo, so he must be healthy," said Derry.

2. Initially Refused to Go to the Hospital

Before his death, the 54-year-old actor was diagnosed with Covid-19. Due to his deteriorating condition, Edy Oglek was immediately taken to the Bekasi Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in West Java for intensive care.

"Yes, that's right, that's why on the 26th he had Covid. He didn't want to go to the hospital, just wanted to isolate at home, then suddenly on the 28th he felt weak and was taken to the hospital," Derry concluded.
