Designing Betrand Peto's Concert Outfit, Ivan Gunawan Still Professionally Paid by Ruben Onsu

Kapanlagi.com - Ruben Onsu's son, Betrand Peto Putra Onsu, will hold his first concert. Ivan Gunawan was appointed by Ruben to design Betrand Peto's costumes. As a close friend, this famous designer certainly wouldn't refuse the offer.

"Well, what else? Betrand has an uncle who is a designer, why should we look for another designer? Let the uncle be busy," said Ivan Gunawan when met at Trans TV, South Jakarta today, Wednesday (19/8).

1. Working on 4 Costumes

There are approximately four costumes being worked on by Ivan Gunawan. Until now, Ivan Gunawan admitted that he has already sewn the outfit that will be worn by Betrand Peto for his concert.

"Oh, it has reached the design process, about to enter the sewing process. Everything is special because this is the first time I handle a concert for children," he said.

2. Still Getting Paid Professionally

Although his friendship with Ruben Onsu is quite close, this project is not free. The man who is familiarly known as Igun still requests payment professionally.

"Professional. In this COVID era, nothing is free, no sponsors, everything needs money. So, I volunteered to be the designer and I also submitted an invoice. It's normal haha," said Igun.

"Indeed, each segment is different, especially because this is the same audience at home since we don't have any live audience. So, the message must reach the audience at home, so I just use professional hands. It's like expensive but worth it, I'm not worried anymore," concluded Ruben Onsu.
