Naura Ayu and Devano Danendra are reunited in the Vidio Original Series project MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2. Although they are now exes, both of them remain professional and appear to be in sync when discussing the exciting shooting process.
Here is the harmony between Naura Ayu and Devano Danendra, as well as other cast members, at the press screening of MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2 held at Plaza Senayan XXI, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (27/6).
Before watching, Naura Ayu, who recently celebrated her birthday on June 18, was serenaded with a happy birthday song by the cast and fans who attended.
Naura Ayu, who once again portrays the character of Rea, said that this time the challenge is to meet the audience's expectations because the first season was quite successful. "The challenge is that we have to meet the expectations of the viewers who have watched the first season," she said.
Meanwhile, Devano Danendra, who plays Reyhan, revealed his similarities with the character Reyhan. "The similarity is that Devano is also quiet, just like Reyhan. Reyhan is also sweet but I don't think Devano is sweet," he said.
In MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2, Devano Danendra also contributed two songs to the soundtrack. "There are two songs. This song is specifically written for My Nerd Girl 2 and will be featured in the middle of an episode. Whenever I write a song, I always have weird and unclear theories so that you can interpret them on your own," said Devano.
When asked about what they missed during filming, Naura Ayu teased Devano about missing being stuck in traffic for 8 hours while filming in Bogor. "Devano misses being stuck in traffic for 8 hours. But we are really happy filming season two, it's so much fun," said Naura Ayu.
Devano couldn't help but laugh when remembering the incident. "So we were shooting in Bogor, (we left) in the morning around 8 o'clock and arrived only at dusk," added Devano while laughing.
Collaborating again with Screenplay Films production house and appointing Annisa Meutia as the Director, MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2 introduces a number of new cast members including Sandrinna Michelle, Fadi Alaydrus, and Shareefa Daanish. MY NERD GIRL SEASON 2 will be aired on Vidio starting from July 1, 2023.
