When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (13/9) regarding her decision, it turns out that it caused turmoil within Jenita Janet. She admitted to feeling insecure when performing on stage.

"Yesterday, during my first performance, I was insecure, oh God, what should I do. So I went to my husband, dear, what should I do, I'll be performing soon," said Jenita Janet.

1. People's Perspective

Jenita Janet said that what she fears is people's perspective of her. However, thanks to the encouragement and support of her beloved husband, this 36-year-old woman finally managed to regain her self-confidence.

"I'm afraid of people's perspective, people's expectations, but thank God my husband strengthens me. My dear, just believe in yourself that your purpose here is to entertain many people and meet new appearances," she said.

"Until I finally realized that if we, as humans, rely our self-confidence on people's expectations, it will surely hurt, so I let go," she continued.

2. Depends on Oneself

In addition, she believes that self-confidence depends on oneself. Even though she now appears differently, Jenita Janet remains consistent with her character as a singer.

"Others can see different sides depending on us, we must truly be comfortable. The same goes for appearances. I stick with Jenita Janet's character even though I don't wear colorful wigs, but it turns out that the essence is still very Janet," she concluded.
