Deep happiness was felt by Deswita Maharani when seeing Syifa Hadju officially taken by El Rumi last Sunday. Deswita, who has known Syifa since her teenage years, admitted to being very proud to see the actress's development to this point. For her, this marriage is a very beautiful final harbor for the long journey that Syifa has gone through.

As someone who accompanied Syifa from the beginning of her career to becoming a big star, Deswita feels relieved. She sees this matchmaking as a miracle because El Rumi is someone who is already well-known in his environment. A feeling of emotion enveloped Deswita throughout the very lavish reception event.

"Yeah, maybe it's because I've known Syifa for quite a long time. Plus, I got to know her when she was still very young, just becoming a teenager. Then I enjoyed and went through all the processes until Syifa became who she is now," said Deswita when met in the Warung Buncit area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (28/4/2026).

"So, what can I say, there is a sense of pride in seeing her. Proud, happy, relieved to see her finally being proposed to and matched with someone who is not far from our circle, someone that Akang and I also know personally. It's like, oh my God, this is truly a gift for all of Syifa's struggles," added Deswita Maharani.

Ferry Maryadi, who was beside Deswita, also added that Syifa's journey in finding her soulmate was not easy. He saw how Syifa had gone through difficult times in her previous relationships until she finally found El Rumi, whom she considers a very beautiful harbor.

"After all these years, he has been struggling, finally finding a very beautiful harbor for El and Syifa as well, masya Allah. El keeps saying to me, 'I entrust my child to you, I entrust my child to you.' It goes on like that," said Ferry Maryadi.

After the wedding ceremony was completed, Syifa Hadju did not waste any time to move in with El Rumi. Deswita confirmed that Syifa has officially moved to their new house. This certainly brings a sense of loss as well as happiness for those close to her, including Syifa's mother who felt sad because her child is now with someone else.

"Immediately, Syifa is already with El. In one house. Yes, this morning I was still on the phone with Syifa's mother, still crying, like, because the mother feels it more, right? Because usually, if Syifa goes to work or something like that, it's different. Now, her child is truly taken by someone," explained Deswita Maharani.

Although feeling a sense of loss because Syifa no longer lives near them, Deswita and Ferry pray that this young couple's household will always be under Allah's protection. They want Syifa to enjoy her new role as a wife with happiness and without any burdens.

"Hopefully they are always given, what is it, the trust to be able to build this household together forever," concluded Deswita.
