Dharty explained that the character Mamak is not a purely antagonistic figure. She is merely a representation of many parents who want to see their children succeed and be happy, but perhaps in a way that is less appropriate or too forceful.

"Mamak is actually very gentle. This is all because of Mr. Agus. In the end, I have to play strict, firm, with tears, and this is the first time I've had to shed so many tears," Dharty shared with a smile.

2. Memorable Scene for Dharty

One of the most memorable scenes for Dharty is when he has to act opposite Aldi at the dining table. This scene demands high emotion and perfect timing to depict the tension between mother and child.

Director Agustinus Sitorus praised Dharty's dedication in bringing the character Mamak to life. According to him, Dharty successfully portrayed the human side of a tough yet fragile mother inside.

"So if you see, I placed Mama in the middle. Ideally, in a Batak family, the father should be in the middle during meals. But for that particular scene, I placed her in the center with a slightly low angle camera to capture Mama's very, very fierce eyes," explained Agustinus.

This film is expected to serve as a mirror for the relationship between parents and children, as well as to remind us of the importance of communication and mutual understanding within the family.

Bernard (Aldy Maldini) is caught in a dilemma between becoming a civil servant as his mother wishes or following his heart to become a pastor. The conflict becomes more complicated when his love for Anindita (Anneth Delliecia) is also at stake. Between Love, Mama, and Heaven will be screened in theaters starting February 19, 2026.
