The wife of Jeremy Thomas not only attended as a guest but also collaborated directly with Ellaya. Ina designed special outfits dedicated to a humanitarian mission, showcasing another side of the fashion world filled with empathy.
Carrying the theme Serenia Garden, this collection is inspired by the beauty of a calming garden. This event aims to invite fashion lovers to experience peace and harmony through the outfits they wear on the day of victory.
Happy Jehan, the mastermind behind Ellaya, shares the deep philosophy of this collection. He not only wants to present visual beauty but also positive values that can be felt by the wearer. A series of garments ranging from elegant Abayas, flowy Dresses, to Onesets and Sarimbit appear captivating with elegant floral motifs.
"Yes, we take Serenia Garden from the philosophy of a calm and harmonious garden, as a symbol of softness, beauty, and peace. And this will represent its wearer when celebrating Eid al-Fitr later. Moreover, this theme also reflects the values of care and togetherness," said Happy Jehan enthusiastically.
Ina Thomas expressed her happiness to be involved in this socially impactful project. For her, creating while sharing is an invaluable satisfaction.
"Yes, I am very happy to be involved in this event. This event is different from other trunk shows, you know. The humanitarian mission it carries has its own value. For that, I designed and created special clothes for this humanitarian mission. This is a form of my and Ellaya's concern for disaster victims," Ina Thomas revealed.
The event concluded with an emotional moment as the collection auction was held to help disaster victims in Sumatra. The performance of the Saman dance by visually impaired individuals deeply touched the hearts of the guests, emphasizing that true beauty radiates from a caring heart.
"Driven by my concern for the disaster victims in Sumatra, through this event I want to invite others to participate by setting aside some of their blessings for our friends in Sumatra," concluded Happy Jehan.
