Elma Theana Celebrates Valentine by Joining a Padel Tournament

This tournament is organized by the Smart Women Community (Pedas) to celebrate this year. The community, led by famous lawyer Ina Rachman, chose a healthier and adrenaline-pumping way by holding a Friendship Padel Tournament.

The event, held in Jakarta on February 14, 2026, is not just any tournament. A total of 18 communities in DKI Jakarta participated in this prestigious event. The stakes are high, with prizes totaling hundreds of millions of rupiah, making the competition even more intense and attention-grabbing.

The prizes offered are indeed very tempting. The first place winner is entitled to take home a cash prize of Rp50 million, followed by the second place with Rp30 million, and the third place receiving Rp20 million. Not only that, the committee also provides prizes for Hopeful Winners 1 to 4, each worth Rp5 million.

In fact, the appearance of the participants is also judged. The Best Costume category gives participants the opportunity to go all out and win a prize of Rp3 million. Ina Rachman, as the Chairperson of Pedas, emphasizes that the essence of this event is not solely about finding a winner. She also wants to break the stigma that padel sports must be associated with revealing clothing.

"Padel doesn't have to be sexy; wearing a hijab and dressing modestly does not prevent us from playing padel. This Padel Tournament is a friendship tournament, prioritizing the bonds formed rather than who wins or loses," asserted this outspoken woman.

Ina's statement aligns with her community's vision to empower women through positive activities. The increasingly popular sport of padel was chosen as a means to unite various groups in the spirit of sportsmanship and togetherness.

Elma Theana, a senior artist who also participated, did not hide her admiration for the organization of this event. The wife of Julianda Barus expressed her impression of the committee's dedication in preparing real and high-value prizes.

Through this spicy version of the Valentine event, it is hoped that the message of love can be understood more broadly. Love is not only for partners but also for oneself through healthy sports, as well as strengthening ukhuwah or brotherhood among each other, especially within the Muslimah community in the capital.
