Different Religions, Sarah Menzel's Story of Joining Azriel Hermansyah's 'Fasting' in the Month of Ramadan

Nevertheless, this does not hinder Azriel and Sarah from loving each other. When met in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, on Friday afternoon (8/3), Azriel explained that there is a great tolerance between him and his girlfriend.

Even Azriel mentioned that Sarah once joined him in 'fasting' during the month of Ramadan. How is that possible?

When asked further, the fasting that Azriel Hermansyah meant was Sarah Menzel refraining from eating and drinking when she is with him before the time to break the fast arrives.

"Sarah is supportive and respects my religion," said Azriel Hermansyah. It is known that Sarah Menzel herself embraces the Hindu religion.

"If for example fasting, sometimes she also fasts to accompany me, for example, we meet for 3 hours, she doesn't eat during those 3 hours and she really respects it," he continued.

Not only that, although different in beliefs, Azriel said that Sarah never refused to learn about other religions, including Islam.

"She is learning about other religions. Just pray, my media friends, that everything goes smoothly," he said.

When asked if he has plans to marry Sarah Menzel in the future, unfortunately, Azriel still doesn't want to comment much. "Later, later," he said.
