"I have nerve disease, I have GERD, and it developed into anxiety, various things, but they are all connected. Anxiety can lead to GERD, so it goes everywhere," said Dimas when met in Bekasi, West Java, some time ago.
Dimas revealed that this illness has been troubling his daily life for quite some time. In fact, his condition even forced him to seek treatment abroad. "Quite a bit, I even had to get treatment in Malaysia," Dimas explained.
This 38-year-old man shared his experience undergoing treatment in Penang, Malaysia. Although he was only there for four days, he felt that the trip yielded quite satisfying results. "No, just four days," he briefly stated.
The decision to go to Malaysia was not an easy one for Dimas. However, pressure from his wife, Tika Bravani, ultimately led him to make that choice. According to Dimas, his wife was very persistent in supporting his healing process.
"Very persistent. At first, I didn't want to go there. But my wife insisted, so I thought, why not just finish it, because I had been treated at RSPI for two to three days. I left and felt unsatisfied, so I finally went to Malaysia," he recounted.
In addition to medical treatment, Dimas also tries various alternative methods to assist in the recovery process. One of the therapies he undergoes is acupuncture. According to him, this therapy has a quite significant positive impact. "I tried various things, acupuncture. Acupuncture has a positive impact. I combine medical and alternative, but according to the doctor's advice as well," said Dimas.
