Kapanlagi.com - Protests against the extension of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) carried out by Dinar Candy resulted in criminal punishment. The artist was designated as a suspect for violating Article 36 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning pornography.

As is known, when carrying out her action in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta, yesterday Wednesday (4/8), Dinar Candy only wore a red two-piece bikini. She also brought a sign that read 'I'm Stressed Because PPKM is Extended'.

When asked about the motive, South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Azis Andriansyah said they are still investigating further. But what is certain is that what Dinar did violated societal norms.

"The motive is still being investigated. What is clear is that whatever is done, in Indonesia there are norms, ethics, cultural norms that apply in our society. The actions of the person concerned do not adhere to cultural norms," he said on Thursday (5/8) evening.

1. Reporting Obligation

During the examination since Wednesday (4/8) night around 21:30 WIB, Dinar was revealed to be in a healthy condition without the influence of drugs. When carrying out her protest, she was fully conscious.

"Currently, the person is in a normal condition. Still conscious," said Commissioner Pol Azis Andriansyah.

Although declared a suspect, Dinar was not detained because she was cooperative. Instead, she will be required to report.

"There is no detention at the moment, but she has been declared a suspect. Yes, she is required to report," he concluded.

2. Cooperative Dinar During Examination

Being declared a suspect but not being detained certainly raises big questions for many people. However, the police emphasized that Dinar was cooperative during the examination period.

"Possibly not detained, because the person is cooperative. Although not detained, she has been declared a suspect. But she is required to report," said Azis.

From the examination results, the police secured evidence in the form of two mobile phones belonging to Dinar. The phones were used to record and post the protest actions on Instagram.

"These are the evidence, two mobile phones belonging to Ms. DM alias DC. Her sister is still a witness because she was the one who recorded the video, based on DC's orders. But it was Ms. DC herself who uploaded everything on her Instagram account," concluded Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Commissioner Pol Yusri Yunus.
