In response to this, the eldest daughter of the late, Sherly, finally spoke out. She firmly dismissed all the negative rumors and ensured that her family's relationship is in a harmonious condition.
Sherly, who has just testified in her younger sibling's guardianship hearing, stated that there are no problems at all within her family.
"Yesterday, I just wanted everything to be fine," she said when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday (22/9/2025).
She also specifically denied the issue of a dispute over the inheritance left by their mother. According to her, the news is completely untrue."There isn't any," she replied briefly when asked about the inheritance dispute.
When asked about the news regarding strained communication among family members, Sherly reaffirmed. She ensured that communication among them is going very well."Everything is just fine," she said.
Sherly's statement also clarifies various speculations circulating in the public. This is further supported by the legal counsel of her stepfather, Zaki R. Mosabasa, who stated that this guardianship request is purely for the administrative interests of the children and has nothing to do with assets.
"This also dispels the wild rumors from yesterday that Bang Haji, as the applicant, requested guardianship amid negative issues regarding assets and others; this is not the case. This is purely guardianship to manage documents," explained Zaki.
