The process of making this song was very fast and started from a whim. At that time, Uap Widya challenged Gita Sinaga to write lyrics for a series of melodies that came to his mind. It only took an hour, and finally Gita Sinaga was able to complete the lyrics titled 'Semesta Yang Sama' (The Same Universe).

1. Because of the Hobby of Making Poetry

Initially, Gita Sinaga lacked confidence in writing song lyrics. But because she was used to making poetry, eventually the lyrics of the song 'Semesta Yang Sama' were created, which is her personal experience.

"I have a hobby of making poetry. Usually about anything, not always about love. At that time, when I was making the song, I also said that it couldn't be forced," said Gita Sinaga during a virtual press conference on Monday (7/12).

"If we look at the overall story from personal experience, it doesn't mean that I was completely immersed in it. Because he is my friend, he knows exactly the story of my life, more or less the depiction at that time. Finally, 'Semesta Yang Sama' was released. This song is actually suitable for those who finally find their own universe," she continued.

2. Not a Casual Project

Although it started as a joke, this song project is not a casual one. Because the mastering of this song was done by Simon Gibson from Abbey Road Studios, who is the Mastering Engineer of The Beatles and Robbie Williams.

"I am satisfied with the result because it was directed by Kang Yandi Bram, our vocal director, B3. Finally, we chose to do the mastering at Abbey Road. So this production is not casual and it is really intentional," concluded Uap Widya.
